November 11, 2018,
"And a poor widow came, and put in two copper coins, which make a penny. And he said to them, "Truly, I say this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury." Mark 12: 42-43.
The story of the Widow's Mite is one of the great stories of the New Testament. While not many verses are given to the story, it tells much about the things of importance in the mind of Jesus. Given the significance of the story, I am changing the spelling of "Mite" to "Might." There is a great deal of "Might" in a sacrificial gift, given from the heart.

Family and Friends Sunday
The Board of Deacons has designated this Sunday as Family and Friends Sunday and requests that you invite some member of your family or a special friend to share the service. Think of someone you would like to invite and give them a call.
