FCCN Sunday Service Preview - "The Faith of the Presidents"
February 17, 2019
Monday, Feb 18, is Presidents' Day which primarily focuses on Presidents Washington and Lincoln. In other ways, it is a celebration of all the presidents. Being president of the USA is one of the greatest honor bestowed on a person. They have everyone given our nation something different and unique. Each one left a legacy and something about his faith in God as the first president said in his speech to Congress in 1789, "Good government is a blessing from God." We owe much to men like Washington who made our country, "One Nation Under God." The message on Sunday will focus on the Presidents and I believe you will be deeply moved by the faith of these men who have guided our country these 243 years from Washington on his knees before crossing the Delaware at Valley Forge to President Trump who said, "America is a nation of believers, and together we are strengthened by the power of prayer."

Special Visitor: We have a special visitor coming to the service on Sunday. The visitor is President Abraham Lincoln who will give the Gettysburg Address, the iconic speech that will live forever in the annals of America.
If you have a busy day on Sunday, why not worship with the Early Service which is abbreviated to a 30 minute service.
Be sure to listen for the church's radio spots on WAVV 101.1 which are sponsored by a member of the church.
