We can believe that Jesus is in the situation with us, even though it sometimes feels like He is sleeping through the storm; we can be sure He is able to calm the storm with His eternal words: Peace Be Still."
FCCN Sunday Service Preview - "The Foundation of a Strong Family"
May 13, 2018
What makes a strong family? If we ever needed to think about strong families, it is today when so many families crumble and implode, leaving family members hurting, at odds, and often leaving children confused as to loyalties. Families have been under stress for a long time, but never like today. How can the present crisis be addressed? There are certain time-honored and faith founded principles which are the foundation to strong families. These principles have worked in the the past and are the foundations for any family today. It is when we stray from these principles that families get into trouble. The message on Mother's Day will point to these "Points of Light" for building strong families.
Serving Him Together, Rev. Les Wicker, pastor
Mother's Day is a time to give thanks for your mom and all the things she did for you. We will recognize moms in several ways:
*All women will receive a rose.
*The youth will make a tribute to mothers.
*Special moms recognized.
*Mother's Day Luncheon.
