FCCN Sunday Service Preview - "Memorial Day Sunday...Service of Remembrance"
May 27, 2018,
This Sunday our service will be dedicated to a Service of Memorial for those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service our our country, as well as honor those who have served our country, defending the rights of freedom. We are pleased that Captain Wayne Smith who was a POW in the Hanoi Hilton for over five years will share his experience as a prisoner of war and how his faith brought him and others through, ultimately to being released after the War in Vietnam. Also speaking will be Lois Bolin, a pioneer in establishing celebrations of Memorial Day across the State of Florida. The Palmetto Ridge JROTC will present the colors, and Veterans will be honored and the service will end with a dove release on the church lawn.
Serving Him together, Rev. Les Wicker, pastor
