FCCN Sunday Service Preview - "The Power of One"

February 11, 2018
"One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord your God who fights for you as he promised."  Joshua 23: 10

Dear Friends,
Do you believe you can make a difference in the world?  Most of us say "Not very much of a difference." Such thoughts are really not true as each person has the power to make a huge difference. It is called "The Power of One." You are familiar with the well-known saying of Edward Hale, I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do." The Bible is filled with stories of people who trusted God is desperate situations and overcame tremendous odds. Examples include: Namann, Esther, Noah, and a boy who had five barley loaves and two fish.  It's all about who's fighting for us in difficult situations. Ralph Waldo Emerson said the purpose in life is "not to be happy, but to make a difference."
