When you concentrate your energy purposely on the future possibility that you aspire to realize, your energy is passed on to it and makes it attracted to you with a force stronger than the one you directed towards it.
FCCN is a awesome place for kids!! Kids need to have fun, interact, and learn about the love of God is a safe setting. Our youth today are our church tomorrow and in order to instill core Christian values and biblical knowledge in youth, we have designed a program to meet those needs. Please check out some of the opportunities for youth as follows:
Most often known as Sunday School. Discovery Time meets at 10:00 AM for our Elementary and Middle School children. Discovery Time begins with a brief assembly, followed by age-specific classes for all ages. The Middle School class is held in the Youth Room across from the elementary classroom.
Nursery and Primary Care
Childcare is available during the Worship Hour. This is quality care by trained leaders, all of whom have had background checks as required by the trustees of our church. We believe quality child care is essential in order that parents attending the service feel not only secure, but also know their child is receiving learning opportunities during this valuable time. Parents are given pagers in the event a need arises in which the parent should be called.
Part of growing up in a church is the church youth group. It is through an exciting and engaging youth group that kids come to love the church and stick with it into adulthood.
The church youth group comprised of middle and high school students meets on a regular basis and also has fellowship outings to build spirit among the youth. Our youth are also encouraged to provide service projects for the less fortunate. Such projects sensitize youth to what it means to follow Christ and do it “unto the least of these.”
Christian based summer camps are available for youth who wish to have a more focused experience of growth during the summer months. These may come by attending the camp sponsored as part of the Annual Meeting of the National Association or another summer Christian camp.
